You are excited to wear multiple hats and support this small but growing team as needed to serve as an ideation specialist / creative director / digital strategist / PowerPoint (or Google Slides) expert / event planner in an entrepreneurial environment. Your addition to the team will enhance company productivity and brand reputation by compensating for our team weaknesses, enhancing professionalism, expanding productivity, and increasing the organization of the company.

THE ROLE:
Under supervision of the RESULTS GLOBAL Account Management team, this full-time role as a Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day functions of the Account Management/Client Services team to activate and execute marketing plans and strategic partnerships on behalf of Company clients and other special projects.
Marketing Assistant - Detailed Responsibilities:
MARKETING PROJECT SUPPORT
- Contribute to the marketing and partnership strategies for each assigned client program and/or activations, including but not limited to:
- Research, pursue and contribute creative ideas, new opportunities, and campaign strategies;
- Draft, review/proofread and analyze all client-facing deliverables (creative, copy, one-sheets, email communication, etc.);
- Create and maintain/update marketing project plans (decks);
- Assist with project budgets as needed;
- Monitor client activity to keep up to date on client careers, update materials as needed.
- Update/maintain tracking spreadsheets and file organization to assist with all media-related elements of client projects as applicable, including media buying (radio, digital), public relations strategy, social media engagement & content creation, etc.;
- Track/collect and analyze program metrics (and recommend a course of action if/when needed), and create recaps when applicable;
- Proactively manage client expectations through exceptional communication and relationship management, consistent with company values, including:
- Coordinate schedules and schedule meetings upon request;
- Draft agendas for client/project planning meetings as assigned;
- Research and collect data to prepare for meetings and presentations;
- Attend meetings to take detailed notes and document/oversee project action items;
- Communicate with the RG internal team to keep everyone informed and engaged;
- Create, coordinate and support (as applicable) any on-site activations and fulfillment of client programs, which may include (but is not limited to):
- Travel, including a valid driver’s license;
- physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and load/unload, setup and teardown, etc.;
- ability and willingness to work during non-business hours (evenings and weekends) as needed or required to fulfill job requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors/contractors related to advertising/paid media, graphics, video services, photography, event producers and rental companies, etc. for client-related event / promotion needs.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time from a strategic planning perspective.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
As a member of a small but mighty team, we are always “developing business” for our clients and our company. We support each other and all clients, special projects, and new business efforts as needed, which includes:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with RG clients, key industry stakeholders, third-party vendors/contractors (related to talent/artist services, advertising/paid media, graphics, video services, photography, event producers and rental companies, etc.), and potential new strategic marketing partners as needed to execute client-related projects and create new opportunities for clients;
- Draft proposals and Initiate outreach to strategic partner targets on behalf of clients;
- Support new business opportunities with ideation, presentation and deck/proposal writing;
- Participate in networking activities (including industry events and shows) in an effort to develop company relationships and organically grow business;
- Assist as needed to support/maintain the Company’s B2B marketing strategy, including but not limited to: Company Website, Client/prospect communication and contact information, gifting, Branded Materials (i.e. Proposal templates, business cards, etc.).
- Stay informed as it relates to music industry marketing innovation and market trends (experiential, technology, brand partners, celebrity ventures, etc.) and be able to connect with new partners and present opportunities to clients.
MISCELLANEOUS TEAM / OFFICE SUPPORT
Our team trusts and respects each other. We are high performance. And we keep our own egos in check. Sometimes that means we take turns taking out the trash. Other team member requirements (as needed):
- Embrace company mission and values;
- Be a motivational, supportive and accountable people manager in a fast-paced environment;
- Perform office and administrative duties to assist the full team and enhance company productivity, such as sending calendar invites, setting up zooms/meetings, and organizing files as requested. May have basic bookkeeping duties, including project and/or executive expense accounting/reports and time-reporting;
- Assist when needed to book and oversee meeting/project plans, travel, reservations, event arrangements and other scheduling related needs;
- Collectively with other team members, monitor office equipment, supplies and inventory, and request or place orders as needed (based on budget guidelines);
- Able and willing to put time in after hours and on weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications and/or Competencies/Skills:
- Work Experience: Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of related marketing experience within the Country music industry (i.e. record label, management company, or related services) or in a comparable account / agency / brand management role. (Please include references for all work/internship experience to be considered.)
- Creative Skill Set: Must have a basic graphic design skills (i.e., Adobe Suite), or is willing to develop this skill set, with the ability to craft a visual concept to communicate via professional proposal-form, one-sheets, and/or general copywriting needs (PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, etc.). Must have a creative perspective as it relates to marketing assets, and be able to communicate creative direction to clients/partners/vendors.
- Adept in technology: Must have the technological skills necessary to perform data entry, manage team calendars, and create company reports. This includes a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Suite, browsers, and operating systems, basic IT support needs, plus the willingness to learn other office software and internal processes as needed.
- Time Management & Strategic Planning: Must have a strong understanding of time management in order to assist in managing the schedules of the team, as well as managing and prioritizing their own time and schedule. Must be able to prioritize tasks in order of importance and/or planning out processes for the office to follow.
- Problem-solving & Resourcefulness: Must have a problem-solving mentality, with the ability to think and adapt quickly in this fast-paced environment to support the team (and Clients) as needed. Must be resourceful in getting tasks done and finding solutions through multi-tasking and creative thinking skills. Works well under pressure.
- Marketing & Media Strategy: Must have an understanding of core marketing principles and be an outside-of-the-box strategic thinker. Ideal candidate will also have enough knowledge of digital media, social media, and radio/audio advertising to be able to provide strategic media recommendations and effectively work with media agency partners to build and execute plans that support our marketing campaigns. In an ever-changing media landscape, must also have a curiosity to keep up with the latest trends and offerings relevant to music and artist marketing.
- Relationship Building & Relationship Management: Our company takes pride in the relationships we’ve built within and beyond the Nashville music community, and the key to our company’s continued growth is in relationship building & management. Must be confident in cold outreach to potential partners to build new relationships, and in nurturing relationships with current clients and partners.
- Communication & Presentation Skill Set: Must be comfortable with and an expert in effectively communicating with clients and partners via email and phone, and in leading conversations and/or presentations via in person and video conference meetings.
